The Role
We are looking for a reliable Sales Application Specialist who can help build a new commercial team based in the Benelux region. This position will plan and execute strategies to market and sell lab, POCT, and diabetes care products into new and established hospitals and related markets.

Duties and Responsibilities include to promote and sell products to achieve assigned sales targets within Belgium, this by increasing brand awareness and providing general support, such as answering inquiries and providing professional advice to customers. You will effectively demonstrate and present products, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and undertake relevant research to meet both the scientific and business needs of customers. Follow-up and coordinate all field activities during the pre and post-sales process of equipment by working cooperatively with internal members.
You will also attend and organise trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings and represent competency in our client’s products.

This position will routinely require extensive or overnight travel on short notice within or sometimes beyond defined territory or routine business hours to support customer needs. Location We are looking for a Sales Application Specialist to handle the Flemish region of Belgium. The plan is to establish our main office in Brussels.

The ideal candidate will have: –

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Life Sciences or related discipline
  • 3+ years direct selling experience selling to clinical diagnostics market
  • 3+ years capital equipment experience (experience selling haemoglobin A1C and urinalysis analysers preferred).
  • Strong contacts within the hospital and laboratory markets.
  • English – business level speaker.
