PSYCHOLOGIST (OR PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST)

Location: Western Sydney
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 per annum depending on experience + Super + Salary Packaging

*Flexible working on offer*

ROLE PURPOSE

This position will work within the Allied health and Behaviour Support Team, providing therapeutic support to individuals and families to address mental health and wellbeing needs. Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Provide psychological services and therapeutic support to individuals and groups, including to adults ,children, young people and families;
• Conduct Psychological Assessments for clients
• To design, evaluate and assist in the implementation of evidence based Psychological interventions;
• To work towards client’s nominated NDIS goals
• Prepare and assist in the implementation and review of individual plans for clients;
• To consult and liaise regularly with families, carer’s advocates and significant others

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Qualification in Psychology
• Registration with AHPRA (Provisional accepted)
• Demonstrated advanced practice skills, knowledge and ability to provide evidence based psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs to adults, parents, children and family groups
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker’s Screening Check
• NSW Driver’s Licence
