CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

ABOUT THE ROLE

Contract: Locum/Temp role for a minimum of 6 months. Very flexible with options after that, including possible permanency or contract extension if you wish.
Hours: 5 days a week, ideally Tuesday – Saturday, 9am – 2pm, however this is negotiable (you must be available for 5 days though)
Location: Mascot, Sydney
Salary: $100 – $120 per hour (negotiable) + Superannuation
Parking: Parking for $5 a day

You will be working with adults providing mental health services. The client base consists of a mixed presentation (primarily mood disorders and substance addiction). The level of risk typically seen ranges from mild-moderate, with anything higher referred on to the local public hospital. The role involves delivering group therapy for all clients (who are not exempt from the group) for a total of 180 minutes per day (3x1hour sessions per day), there is a workbook/program and schedule to follow however this is flexible and can be adjusted to best meet the clinician strengths/interests as well as the client presentations. 1:1 consultations may also occur on an ad hoc basis based on referrals made.

EXPERIENCE

• AHPRA Registration
• Experience needed in adult mental health
• Experience needed conducting group therapy
• Must be willing to undergo relevant probity checks
• Covid-19 full vaccination proof required
